Walking Arts Encounters – the book
Experimental Walking Performances, Walking Art Philosophy, Walking Narratives, Crossing Borders, Walking and Place, the Fine Arts of Walking, Long Journeys, Nature and the Anthropocene, Walking as a Political Narrative and the Pedagogies of Walking are, among others, some of the approaches included in the book Walking Arts Encounters.
This publication, launched in 2020/2021, is a milestone in the global field of Walking Arts, featuring a wide spectrum of both artistic practices and theoretical essays.
Available in a printed and a digital format, the publication is in full color, with a balanced and attractive combination of images and texts from scholars and walking artists from all over the world.
Edited by Yannis Ziogas and Geert Vermeire, in a design of Aspasia Voudouri.
The publication is in full color, with hundreds of photographs and 567 pages.
The price for the volume is:
50 euro plus postage fee 26,00 Euro either for EU, USA, or third countries.
40 euros plus postage fee 26,00 Euro either for EU, USA, or third countries. for the Conference participants 2019 (Encounters or Conference).
20 euros for downloading the pdf.
The amount will be deposited as a Donation for the Prespa Encounters/Conference 2021 that will take place in Prespa in the first week of July 2021.
